Sketches of Frank Gehry

I was so excited to see this movie – mostly so I could make fun of him/his practices, etc. All in all, the movie as a movie – isn’t so bad. Sydney Pollack does a remarkably good job of making the movie not boring for the full, near hour and a half, which I think is tough to do when you are mostly shooting a bunch of buildings. I enjoyed Hal Foster being like “basically I am the only guy who doesn’t like him” but the best was probably the first fifteen minutes which solidified how bogus I think he is, and basically makes him out to be a crazy fool (or a genius … but I vote fool).
