I saw this with the family as part of our New Year’s Eve/Day tradition of seeing a movie together. Did you know we had that tradition, I was only subconsciously aware of it – it seems. But I was very excited to go see this movie and hoping it would be indie-cool and not indie-disappointing like Little Miss Sunshine was for me – I know, I am a hater.
But I really enjoyed this movie. Very much. Very very much. I would have preferred if it was longer and there was more movie to watch. I think her friend pictured up there on the right is hilarious. I think she is great and I will go see her other movies. I think you should go see this movie if you haven’t, or maybe you should go again if you have.
Also – a thing that never happens, is I was happy with the way the movie was resolved. I am always: oh if I had written it I would have done this instead and it would have been better – but I just know that I couldn’t have written this as well as Diablo did.
