Okay. So. I have like really mixed feelings about this movie. Watched this with Elliot this last weekend and from the extremely slow moving (yet later poignantly explained) credits to the abrupt continuation of children on their high school steps as a conclusion.

Some scenes were incredibly emotional, some boringly repetitive. I think the end result was that I enjoyed the movie, but I wanted more – I wanted the end credits to come on exactly when they did, and then I wanted them to go away, and more movie to occur. I needed twenty more minutes, not to bring about resolution: to close the curtain – but at least to leave it comfortably open, me staring at a frozen scene, not leaving me standing alone in a yet unfinished theatre.
